Questions, answered
What ingredients do you leave out, and why?
No sulfates (SLS or SLES), no parabens, and no MCI/MI. Sulfates are harsh detergents that strip your scalp's natural oils and can leave it dry and irritated. MCI/MI are preservatives that are among the most common causes of skin allergies in personal care products. Parabens are preservatives a lot of people would rather avoid, and our formulas don't need them.
Are your products all-natural?
No, and on purpose. We use natural ingredients where they perform, and proven synthetics where they work better. We'd rather it work in your hair than look good on a label.
How do you choose your ingredients?
Every ingredient has to do a job: hold, texture, or keeping the formula stable. If it doesn't make the product work better, it doesn't go in.
Do you offer free shipping?
Yes, on all orders of $70 and up, in the US and internationally. Orders ship from our Texas warehouse in 1–3 business days.
What if something goes wrong with my order?
If it arrives damaged, it's the wrong item, or it never shows up, we'll send a replacement or refund you in full, with no return needed. Just email info@cstheory.co.
